2. If you wear make-up, be sure to remove it with make-up remover before proceeding with your cleanser, this will help prevent clogged pores and reduce breakouts.

 

 3. After removing your makeup and cleansing your face, apply a toner by adding a few drops onto a cotton ball or pad and swiping it lightly over your skin. In addition to closing pores, a toner removes excess oil and dirt from your skin that soap left behind. A toner is not necessary for everyone, but some people find it useful. If your skin is sensitive and easily irritated, using an alcohol-free astringent works best. Witch hazel is a natural alternative to buying synthetic toner/astringent.

 

 

4. Your face should be moisturized every morning and night after you've cleansed and toned it. By applying a lightweight lotion in the morning, you can reduce dryness while hydrating your skin. If you want to reduce wrinkles and fine lines and repair damaged cells at night, consider a cream that is richer in texture.

 

 

5. Use a clay mask once a week to deep clean your skin. Using a mask helps remove impurities from your face while killing bacteria. After washing your face dab a small amount on your fingertips and apply to your face. Leave on for 10 minutes then rinse off and apply moisturizer.

 

 

6. Use a gentle exfoliant if your skin is dry and flaky. It should be applied once or twice a week, depending on the condition of your skin. Use light pressure and gentle motions when applying it to your face. The effects of this treatment will start showing after a few weeks, and your skin will appear healthy and radiant.
